Mdou Moctar Expands Winter 2022 North American Tour
Mdou Moctar has announced additional headlining performances for his winter 2022 North American tour, coinciding with his support for Parquet Courts. Following a September tour promoting his fifth studio album, Afrique Victime, Moctar will kick off his new dates in Providence, Rhode Island, on February 24 and conclude in Charlottesville, Virginia, on February 26 before joining Parquet Courts in Asheville, North Carolina, on February 27. In March, he will depart from the group to perform in various cities including Lyndon and Burlington in Vermont, Woodstock, New York, Washington, D.C., and Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The tour will culminate at the Big Ears Festival in Knoxville on March 25. Shortly after this run, Moctar is set to embark on a European tour featuring 30 shows over the course of a month.
